VJ Gaurav Kapur ties the knot at an intimate wedding ceremony in Chandigarh
VJ-actor Gaurav Kapur married Delhi based model & anchor Kirat Bhattal in a beautiful, intimate ceremony in Chandigarh. The occasion was attended by close family & friends of the couple and amongst them were several models, VJs & actors from the film fraternity. Not to forget some known faces from the cricket-world!
Gaurav, who is India’s most prominent sports anchor, made an obviously happy groom, even posting photos of his beloved bride on Twitter while the ceremony was underway! He exuded all the charm and bonhomie that he’s known for, while thoroughly enjoying his special day. Kirat looked radiant in a pink and gold legenga and made for the perfect bride- graceful and joyous at the same time.
Photographed by Bhumi & Simran (www.bhumiandsimran.com), the pre-wedding festivities began in Delhi with a Mehndi, followed by a gala sangeet, which was no less than a star-studded event. Guests included Yuvraj Singh, Neha Dhupia, Mini Mathur, Roshan Abbas, Maria Goretti, Sandhya Mridul, Angad Bedi, Kabir Khan, AD Singh, amongst other close family and friends of the couple. They could not contain their joy at this union and Instagram & Twitter were flooded with selfies & snapshots.
