Set against the dramatic cliffs and sweeping ocean views, the wedding of Anisha Avlani and Roshiv Sheth unfolded like a dream across three extraordinary days. Orchestrated by the visionary WeddingSutra Favorite – Wonderland Bali Events, the celebration was an exquisite ode to nature’s elements brought to life through immersive themes and ethereal aesthetics.
Wedding Planning
The couple’s vision was rooted in creating a multi-sensory journey—dreamy, elegant, and deeply elemental—anchored in the natural beauty of the island of the Gods. Embracing the themes of Sunset, Sea, Sun, and Sky, the planners wove a fluid narrative across multiple villas, each transformed into a hidden world waiting to be discovered. “It was an absolute joy to work with Anisha and Roshiv,” shares Anastasia Wolf of Wonderland Bali Events. “They weren’t afraid to dream big. Their brief was poetic and evocative, and we knew we had to go beyond traditional setups to give their guests an experience that felt magical and utterly unforgettable.”
With its trio of cliffside villas separated by discreet sliding partitions, Pandawa Cliff Estate provided the ideal stage for this theatre of celebrations. Each transition was carefully choreographed, guiding guests from one spellbinding setting to the next while preserving a sense of mystery and anticipation. From art installations and layered lighting to bespoke floral stories and curated furniture, every detail was tailored to evoke emotion and awe.
Wedding Functions
Welcome dinner
The festivities began with a vibrant Sunset-themed welcome dinner, where the golden hour met a kaleidoscope of coral, tangerine, blush, and fuchsia. Guests were welcomed by a radiant floral arch bursting with roses, hydrangeas, and bougainvillea in sunset tones, dramatically set against the ocean backdrop. Velvet blush seating with ombré cushions, citrus-hued pillows, and floral centrepieces created a luxe yet playful lounge experience on the lawn. The décor was infused with joy, from the mirrored welcome signage framed with blooms to cascading yarn chandeliers in shades of sorbet, echoing the hues of a Bali sky at dusk. As day turned to night, the celebration took on a festive spirit with tropical cocktails, laughter under swaying palms, and a spirited dance floor that captured the essence of a sunset in motion.
Wedding
For the wedding ceremony, the theme was inspired by the Sea—mystical, fluid, and serene. The pièce de résistance was a bespoke wave-shaped arch, sculptural and elegant, standing proud against the ocean backdrop. A mirrored aisle, designed to reflect the light like the shimmering sea, led Anisha to her groom, surrounded by lush white and blue-toned florals that echoed the depths and energy of water.
Lunch
The midday celebration was a radiant ode to the Sun—warm, uplifting, and filled with golden light. A breezy canopy of vivid orange drapes cast a soft glow across the lawn, creating a striking contrast against the blue Bali sky. Underneath, wooden round tables were dressed with tangerine linens and complemented by earthy-toned florals in marigold, peach, and blush. The mirrored welcome signage, surrounded by bright blooms, added a chic touch of modernity to the otherwise organic setup. Guests, dressed in breezy pastels and festive hues, mingled over a leisurely lunch, soaking in the laid-back yet sun-drenched ambience.
Wedding Dinner
As the final act, the wedding dinner drew guests into the Sky—an ethereal world painted in deep blues, silver accents, and soft celestial motifs. Above the dinner setting, a canopy of twinkling lights mimicked a star-strewn sky, while mirrored, wave-shaped tables reflected the glow to magical effect. Deep blue velvet seating and clouds of baby’s breath added texture and lightness, blurring the boundaries between earth and sky.
