Charvi and Imran, The Leela Palace, Udaipur

It’s a match made in creative heaven. Charvi Bharadwaj a celebrity choreographer and Imran Qureshi a music composer and singer was a match made in heaven. When they planned their wedding, it had to be something that reflected their personality. Hosted at the Leela Palace, Udaipur, the couple’s celebrations were planned and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Wedding Saga.

Wedding Planning
Subhayu Chakraborti and Aakanksha Singh from The Wedding Saga say, “The couple wanted something out of the box. While they had a color palette in mind, they wanted us to design the theme for every event, specially the nikah and pheres.”

Wedding Functions
Haldi
The celebration started with a Haldi by Lake Pichola. The color palette was a blend of soft sage green, muted beige, turmeric yellow and burnt orange. It mirrored the natural beauty of marigolds, gerberas and garden blooms under the bright afternoon sun. The function was a joyful one with a lot of dancing, with the bride and groom relaxing with their family and friends.

Nikah
Held in the outer courtyard, the nikah saw a royal entry framed with flowing drapes. Chandeliers and clusters of glowing candles created a warm, soulful ambience. The massive fringes ring paired with an elegant pillar, candle and floral arrangements, made it the perfect setting for a Nikah—serene, spiritual, and beautifully immersive.

Phere
Also an outdoor function, the palette for the pheres was a rich symphony of antique gold, bronze, caramel, and champagne—tones that felt regal, sacred and timeless. The bride entered under a delicate dupatta held up by her female friends and family. The varmalas were exchanged with Lake Pichola in the backdrop, making it a serene and picturesque moment. The much loved presence at the functions was the bride’s furry friend, who charmed all the guests.

Cocktail Party
With a cobalt/electric blue color palette, the cocktail party looked immediately electric. This is where dance and music truly came alive. Family and friends took to the stage to and the couple told their story through charming performances, both dressed in magical white.
