Wedding Planning
Pritesh Sharma from Mapsor Experiential Weddings says, “The couple’s vision was clear from the start—they wanted a wedding that felt immersive, transformative, and emotionally engaging. Each function needed to have its own identity and narrative, while still being connected through a larger story of unity and celebration. They were keen on moving away from conventional wedding setups and ensuring that guests felt like they were stepping into a new world at each event. The focus was on storytelling through décor, where every detail contributed to a deeper emotional and visual experience.”

Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
Held at Camp Thar – Desert Sand Dunes Safari Camps Resort Osian—an ancient town in Jodhpur district—the welcome dinner transformed Camp Thar into an Arabian-inspired oasis. The evening was conceptualized around the color orange, inspired by British-Irish artist Neil Harbisson and his idea that beneath all differences, human skin exists in shades of orange. This philosophy became the emotional core of the evening. Dried desert florals in warm amber hues, earthy textures blending seamlessly with the sand dunes and soft lighting that created a glowing, intimate atmosphere marked the evening. The natural desert itself became part of the design—blurring the line between environment and décor, creating a setting that felt both grounded and poetic.

Sangeet
For the Sangeet, held at a farmhouse, the celebration took a dramatic turn into a futuristic, immersive world inspired by the theme-park like digital spaces teamLab Borderless (Tokyo) and AYA Universe (Dubai). Titled “Ara – Universe of Life,” the décor explored the harmony between nature and technology with interactive installations responding to movement and energy, dynamic lighting and soundscapes, and visual storytelling through the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and spirit. The entire space felt alive and ever-evolving, turning the Sangeet into a multi-sensory experience where guests became part of the environment rather than just observers.

Pheras
The wedding ceremony was designed as a tribute to timeless Indian grandeur under the theme “Union of Love & Families”. Inspired by the Taj Mahal and Sheesh Mahal aesthetics, the décor featured grand marble-inspired arches with intricate detailing, mirror work reflecting light to create a luminous effect, and a floral canopy reminiscent of Mughal gardens. Soft golden lighting enveloped the mandap, enhancing the sacredness of the ceremony. Crystal accents and majestic pillars added a regal touch, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and majestic.

Reception
The celebrations concluded with a grand reception that embodied regal elegance and modern luxury. Inspired by Rajasthani palaces and the couture aesthetic of Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the décor featured rich jewel tones like maroon, emerald, and ivory. Intricately embroidered fabrics and detailed craftsmanship, and statement chandeliers and gold accents marked the décor. The setting felt like a royal durbar—luxurious, refined, and celebratory—bringing the wedding to a spectacular close.
