When businesswoman and Miss India Australia finalist 2019, Parul Lochab, tied the knot with businessman Rohit Ramna, their union was marked by a grand celebration. Hosted in the enchanting coastal town of Hua Hin, Thailand, where the stunning ocean backdrop and seamless hospitality set the stage for an unforgettable three-day affair.
How They Met
Parul and Rohit’s story was rooted in tradition, as their families from Haryana arranged their match. With Parul based in Australia and Rohit in the USA, their time together before the wedding was fleeting. Yet, through their engagement and shared values, the two discovered a bond that was ready to be celebrated with their loved ones.
Wedding Venue
The wedding was hosted at Aviyana Hua Hin, Thailand, a picturesque property that was completely dedicated to the couple and their guests for three nights. With over 200 attendees, the resort’s staff curated a flawless experience marked by warm service, exquisite Indian cuisine, and versatile spaces that accommodated each event with ease. Guests fondly praised both the culinary spread and the hotel’s hospitality, which made the Thai setting feel like home infused with Indian traditions.
Wedding Planning
The couple entrusted Diwas with the responsibility of bringing their vision to life. Contacted in late May 2025 for a June celebration, the team had just under a month to orchestrate the grand wedding. Swift decisions were made, locking in Aviyana Hua Hin as the venue for its seaside lawn and its ability to serve authentic Indian vegetarian food. Every décor detail, from color palettes to floral selections, was meticulously curated in collaboration with Parul, whose eye for design shaped the mood of each function. With seamless styling, entertainment, and logistics, Diwas ensured that the festivities carried elegance, warmth, and effortless flow.
Wedding Functions
Mehendi and Welcome Party
Set against a breezy beach lawn, the celebrations began with a vibrant Moroccan-inspired décor. A stunning couple’s seating backdrop, henna stations, and a dance floor kept the energy alive, while Punjabi dhols gave guests a traditional welcome. Thai dancers added a cultural twist by performing garba, and the night closed with a spectacular fire show by the sea.
Haldi
The Haldi ceremonies reflected the individuality of the bride and groom. Rohit’s was a classic yellow-and-white setup steeped in tradition, while Parul opted for a colorful, modern palette. Guests enjoyed playful game stalls such as giant Jenga and ring toss, alongside interactive entertainment led by the anchor.
Engagement and Sangeet
The evening was a glamorous affair in emerald green and gold hues. Welcomed by LED wing performers, Parul made a dazzling entrance as her favorite song played. Following the ring exchange, the night transformed into a celebration with Thai dancers performing to Bollywood beats and loved ones taking the stage for heartfelt dances.
Wedding
Rohit arrived in style in a decorated BMW, accompanied by dhol players and bhangra dancers. Parul’s entry was nothing short of a dream—walking alone down a floating aisle created over the swimming pool, until she reached the mandap.
The wedding itself embraced pastel and blush pink tones, with a regal mandap overlooking the ocean. Designed entirely with flowers, without fabric draping, it embodied the bride’s wish for natural elegance. As roses showered during the varmala and fireworks lit up the sky post-pheras, the ceremony concluded in perfect harmony with the setting sun and calm seas, despite the looming monsoon.
Reception
The festivities culminated in a sophisticated ivory and gold reception. Emotional speeches by Parul’s father and uncle set the tone for the evening, followed by cake cutting, a champagne toast, and an evening of fine dining and dancing—an elegant finale to a spectacular celebration.
