Twinkle Patel and Rahul Minat, Parsee Gymkhana, Mumbai
From a vibrant Garba Night and Carnival to a wedding inspired by the charm of Banaras Ghats, every celebration at this wedding unfolded with immersive experiences.
Twinkle Patel and Rahul Minat’s wedding blended meaningful traditions, immersive décor, and warm celebrations across every event. Bringing the festivities together seamlessly was WeddingSutra Favorite – The Promising Knot, who planned each function with attention to detail and a clear understanding of the couple’s vision.

How They Met
Twinkle and Rahul first connected through Instagram, unaware that a simple conversation would eventually turn into a lasting relationship. What began casually soon grew into a strong connection built on comfort, ease, and shared understanding. Their story took a memorable turn during a trip to Bali. “Surrounded by our friends, sunsets, and the calm of the beach, Rahul surprised me with a proposal I never saw coming,” shares Twinkle. “It felt natural and emotional at the same time, like everything had led to that moment.”

Wedding Planning
Planning a wedding with multiple events and detailed rituals felt effortless with The Promising Knot managing the celebrations. The planning team ensured every ceremony was organised smoothly, allowing the couple and their families to stay fully present throughout the festivities.
“The team handled everything with so much care and preparation,” says the bride. “From ritual essentials to last-minute requirements, everything was arranged well in advance, which made the entire experience stress-free for us.”

Wedding Functions
Garba Night and Sagai
The Garba Night and Sagai featured a Pichwai-inspired theme influenced by Shreenathji motifs and traditional detailing. Rich colours, ornate elements, and elegant décor brought together a setting that felt festive yet refined. The atmosphere balanced cultural influences with contemporary styling, creating a celebration that felt vibrant, warm, and visually immersive.

Carnival
For the Carnival celebration, the lawn was transformed into a boho-inspired setting filled with earthy tones, playful décor accents, and lively details. The décor had a relaxed yet stylish feel, with interactive elements and vibrant corners adding energy to the evening.

Wedding
The wedding décor drew inspiration from the timeless charm of the Banaras Ghats. At the couple’s request, the setting incorporated traditional influences, layered detailing, and soft lighting to recreate the essence of Varanasi elegantly.

Advice For Couples
“Plan your wedding around what genuinely feels true to you as a couple instead of focusing too much on trends,” shares Twinkle. “The celebrations become more meaningful when they reflect your personality and relationship.” She adds, “Trust the right people, stay organised, and don’t stress about making every detail perfect. Some of the best moments happen naturally. Most importantly, enjoy the process together because the journey goes by very quickly.”
