Kaabia’s Bachelorette in Mykonos

Charming winding streets, pretty alleys lined with whitewashed houses overlooking a beautiful harbor, beautiful beaches, delectable cuisines and a party-hard vibe makes Mykonos one of the most sought of after destinations in all of Greece. Charmed by everything that this island offers bride-to-be Kaabia Grewal, Co-Founder, Outhouse left with her best buds for this Cycladic island for a vacation. Her bachelorette, however, was unlike any other you would have ever seen before. With coordinated looks for the entire squad put together by ace designer duo Shivan & Narresh, this escapade was marked by infinite style and high-end fashion.
The six-day-long experience was curated keeping the essence of Mykonos in mind for the bride tribe who call themselves the “I Do (s) Crew”. This bespoke caper was not just a celebration of Kaabia’s last few months of singlehood, but a bonding experience with her best buds. The power squad comprised of Kaabia and Sasha Grewal, founders of Outhouse, Shivan Bhatiya and Narresh Kukreja, the designer duo of Shivan & Narresh, Sunaina Kwatra, Country Head, Louis Vuitton – India, Siddhartth Mahajan, Brand Manager, SHIVAN & NARRESH, Savleen Manchanda, celebrated makeup artist among others.
On arrival, the crew was greeted with a Party Starter Kit designer by the Kaabia’s very own brand and comprised of the celebratory accessories to go with the looks for each day – a quirky hand-embroidered duffel bag holding exclusively designed & handcrafted bits and baubles. This one-of-a-kind kit contained the new clear Kabanos Bag, evil eye charm for the boys, the personalized Drachma Coin Medallions and evil-eye ear studs, among other bachelorette goodies.
Along with this, the excited bride-to-be gifted to her friends customized Shivan & Narresh Bachelorette Totes with custom swimwear and resort wear that was designed keeping myriad destinations and moods in mind.
The theme-oriented bachelorette observed twinning as the primary trend for the entire duration of the getaway. On the first day, the theme was ‘Black & Nude’ to mark the packed season of holidaymakers at Mykonos town. Her tribe was greeted with the party kit, followed by lunch at Interni and bar hopping. After a heady night of partying, the gang decided to indulge in a relaxed day with beachfront brunch at Alemagou and Sam Feldt gig later in the evening. Here, they saw a flush of pleasant ‘Palmera’ botanicals by Shivan & Narresh – the print engulfed the boho-luxe ambiance of tropical beach club Alemagou. Day three was all about painting the town red donning the luscious ‘Eden’ print perfect for the bride and her troupe for their lunch at Principote, Panormos. Ushered by the exuberant ‘La Digue’ print along with customized Outhouse crowns, the final day of the bachelorette saw a spirited lunch at Hippie Fish and a raging sundowner at Scorpios.
In conversation, the excited bride-to-be elaborated on the idea that shaped her creatively conceptualized trip. “The bachelorette #MyKABanos was planned keeping the Grecian vibe of the town in mind. The destination with its boho-luxe and allusively creative appeal stood as a symbolic markdown for my bachelorette and an inspiration for a special supplement to the Outhouse family,” she said.
As this troupe got together to bid adieu to Kaabia’s single life, they also made sure that they stood out and heads turn at wherever they went in this Mediterranean paradise.
