WeddingSutra On Location invited four brides-to-be to KALKI, in Worli, Mumbai. Kicking off with a Style Consultation, they were treated to a Makeover and their transformation captured for safekeeping in a professional Photo Shoot! Each bride-to-be also had the opportunity to interact with some of the best professionals in Bridal and Wedding services.

Here, in the last of the four-part series, bride-to-be Seema Jassani tells us about her experience with WeddingSutra on Location at KALKI.

“Its always fun when you are asked to doll up in Indian clothes and even better when you have a team to dress you up! I have to say thank you to WeddingSutra for making this possible by inviting me to WeddingSutra On Location at KALKI for the full-fledged experience of being a bride!

From the minute I entered, Team WeddingSutra was at my side to assist and advise. I selected a deep blue lehenga and when I tried it on, we all agreed the silhouette was stunning on me.

Next, I was sent to have my hair and makeup done by Recinda Martis, an absolute genius at her work. She lined my eyes with a soft, smokey liner and nude lips, which I’d never tried before! It really made me feel very confident about myself.

This was followed by a look through the jewellery from Mahesh Notandass; I picked an uncut diamond set which complemented the outfit perfectly.

Finally, photographer Dev Purviya, so casual and friendly, shot my final look, keeping it all very candid and ensuring I didn’t feel self-conscious at all.

Overall, it was an amazing experience that I will cherish forever. Thank you WeddingSutra!”

Seema’s Look
Makeup artist Recinda Martis decided to add drama to Seema’s eyes with muted makeup on the rest of the face. She created the base with the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Skin Coverage Foundation in Beige Honey and set it with the hydrating formula of Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact in Golden Medium. To highlight the eyes, Recinda used the Lakmé Absolute Color Illusion Pearl Shadow in Peach Pearl as the base and used the Lakmé Absolute Forever Silk Eyeliner in Electric Violet along the lash line and waterline to add drama. She finished with a few coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara. Recinda then brushed a slight hint of the Lakmé Absolute Sunkissed Bronzer on her cheeks and applied two coats of Lakmé Absolute Matte Lipcolor in Peach Carnation shade. Finally, her hair was styled in soft waves for a sangeet ready look.
