Chiara Ferragni and Fedez’s Glamorous Italian Wedding
One of the most followed couples of Instagram tied the knot this weekend at the splendid 19-th century Italian estate of Dimora delle Balze in Noto, Italy.
Chiara Ferragni, known as ‘The Blonde Salad’ is one of the world’s most popular and highest paid fashion bloggers. While she has set some style trends, her wedding has set the bar much higher when it comes to modern fairytale weddings.
Last May, the fashionista started a new chapter in love when her then-boyfriend, Fedez, an Italian rapper, proposed marriage to her onstage, during one of his concerts.
Labeled as the #TheFerragnez wedding, their recent nuptials had most of us drooling. A treat for all the fashion followers, the wedding started off with an intimate Rehearsal Dinner where the bride looked breathtaking in her gold and pink sleeveless Prada dress with sparkling embellishments. Her makeup artists Manuele Mameli gave her a breezily casual look with glowing skin and hair worn loose yet artfully styled.
The wedding which took place outdoors saw Chiara look like a traditional bride in her white custom-made Dior gown. Fedez matched her formal look in his Versace outfit.
The fairytale setting where the celebrity couple exchanged vows was heady with a floral profusion of pretty white roses and hydrangeas. The smoke bombs that went off during the event only accentuated the magical vibe to the whole affair. The bridesmaids wore beautiful pastel pink gowns by Alberta Ferretti.
Chiara chose another custom-made Dior gown for the evening reception which was adorned with the lyrics of ‘Favorisca I sentimenti’ – the song with which Fedez proposed to Chiara. The gown also included symbols that represent their love for each other, including that of a small lion for their baby Leone.
While the tunes of ‘Circle of life’ enhanced the mood, the newly-wed couple watched Noto’s sky getting illuminated with bright fireworks. Even the cake at the wedding impressed with its beauty and significance. Prepared by chef Marco Failla, it was hand painted with the same lyrics and symbols that were embroidered on Chiara’s dress.
Can a fairy tale truly be complete without the fun of an amusement park? Certainly not! After cutting the wedding cake, the bride swapped her long embroidered skirt with a pleated mini one. Memories of fun and revelry were certainly created at the custom-made #TheFerragnez amusement park which included a ferris wheel!
