Television’s sweetheart and popular actress Hunar Hale got married to the handsome MTV Spiltsvilla actor Mayank Gandhi in Delhi last year. The couple was introduced through their families and after enjoying a healthy courtship, decided to tie the knot in an intimate Gurudwara wedding in Delhi.
The cocktail cum engagement ceremony was a grand affair and was held at the Sanskruti Lounge in Delhi with the couple’s close friends and family members in attendance. Actor Suniel Shetty, who is well known to the couple, was also present to shower his blessings on them. For the engagement look, Hunar chose to keep her makeup minimal and wore a heavily embellished maroon and gold anarkali dress with statement gold earrings to complete her simple yet sophisticated look.
The Mehndi ceremony was full of fun and frolic and was hosted at the actresses’ home in Delhi. Hunar kept her look simple by donning a bright Pista Green salwar Kameez and decided to accessorize this no ‘make-up’ look with some gorgeous chaandbaalis.
Hunar and Mayank’s wedding was solemnized according to Sikh rituals and was held at the Pahari Wala Gurudwara Sahib in GK I in Delhi. To complement the traditional customs, Hunar wore a stunning pastel green and pink lehenga along with a net dupatta consisting of gorgeous flower appliques from Archana Kochhar. She accessorized her bright ensemble with gold kaleere’s and statement jewellery consisting of a delicate nath, kundan earrings and maang tikka from Kalyan Jewellers. Her makeup was kept luminous to bring out her natural bridal glow.
