Shreya and Shreyyas, Fairmont Jaipur
Balancing understated elegance with cultural richness, this destination wedding in Jaipur was a dreamy one!
For NRI couple Shreya and Shreyyas, their wedding was envisioned as an intimate yet evocative celebration that felt effortless, meaningful, and rooted in emotion. Bringing this vision to life with finesse was WeddingSutra Favorite – Dark Horse Events, who helmed both the design and planning.

Wedding Planning
Planning a wedding remotely can often feel daunting, but for Shreya and Shreyyas, it became a seamless journey anchored in trust. Having never flown down to India before the wedding, the couple finalised their venue entirely over a video call. The team at Dark Horse Events translated this trust into a celebration that felt deeply personal yet refreshingly uncomplicated. As planners Priyanshi Somaiya and Anubhav Jain share, “Delivering the wedding of their dreams for such a wonderful couple was incredibly fulfilling and a reminder that sometimes, simplicity creates the most unforgettable moments.” Their approach ensured every detail felt intentional, allowing the couple’s story to take centre stage.

Wedding Functions
Mehndi
Bathed in warm sunlight, the Mehndi unfolded as a vibrant rooftop celebration. A cheerful palette of orange and pink seating set the tone, complemented by abundant florals that framed the space with a breezy, festive charm. Interactive games and relaxed lounge setups encouraged guests to unwind.

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony was a spirited ode to tradition, drenched in hues of yellow, white, and green. Marigold accents and fresh foliage brought in a natural vibrancy, while the energy of the celebration came alive through playful rituals. Amid showers of rose petals and laughter, the couple and their loved ones revelled in the moment, culminating in an impromptu dance that carried the joy well into the evening.

Wedding
Set against the serene poolside, the wedding ceremony was a study in refined minimalism. The couple’s vision was clear without excess and embellishment beyond what felt authentic. A delicate mandap adorned with marigolds, rajnigandha, and soft white and pink florals stood gracefully against the tranquil backdrop, allowing emotions to take precedence and creating a ceremony that felt deeply moving yet visually effortless.
