Here, she shares with us the details of the outfits that she wore.
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
“Our wedding began on a very colorful note, with a vibrant mehndi event that reflected Rajasthan’s beautiful culture. For this function, I chose a bright fuchsia lehenga that featured gota work, which the state is known for. The outfit was paired with floral jewellery that featured pink and white flowers and pearl details. My look was vibrant and cheerful with bursts of color that synced perfectly with the lively, informal mood of the event.”
Sangeet
“We decided to go with Western-styled outfits for the sangeet. I wore a gorgeous gown by Dolly J. It was, possibly, the most dreamy outfit I have ever seen. I felt like nothing less than a princess in it. Golden flowers covered the bodice and spilled over onto the billowing skirt, giving it a romantic, ethereal appeal that went very well with the necklace set I wore.”
Wedding
“For our wedding, I chose a white lehenga with muted pink and green embroidery from Asiana Couture. The ensemble came with two different dupattas, both of which had a generous sprinkling of sparkle thanks to the sequins embroidered on. My outfit was matched with stunning pieces of kundan jewelry and natural, fresh-faced makeup. We had chosen a soft color palette for the wedding decor and this outfit fit in perfectly with it.”
Reception
“One word can describe my look for the reception: classic. I wore a red and gold saree by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Red is such a bridal color and I had to have it as part of my wedding wardrobe to be able to feel complete as a bride! I also added a lot of other classically-Indian details, such as the gajra, red bangles and kundan jewellery, to the mix and was very happy with the way it all looked together.”
