How They Met
Their story began in 2017 at the University of Manchester, where Karan was in his final year and Ashni had just started hers. What followed was a Valentine’s Day date at a quaint Thai restaurant in 2018, marking the beginning of a relationship that would span cities and time zones.

After five years of long-distance, the couple got engaged and spent the next two years building a life together. Karan’s proposal brought their journey full circle, taking place in Manchester, where it had all begun. Their shared love for Barcelona made it an easy choice for their wedding, a destination that felt both personal and celebratory.

Mehndi
An intimate indoor celebration, the Mehndi was infused with warmth and playfulness. Bright orange marigolds and tropical blooms added bursts of colour against a minimal setup, creating a cheerful yet uncluttered aesthetic. Traditional potlis, bangles, and gajras doubled up as charming favors, keeping guests engaged as intricate henna patterns came to life. As the evening unfolded, the energy shifted to the dance floor, with the bride and her friends leading a spirited celebration, while chaat and cocktails kept everyone happily fuelled.

Wedding
Bathed in soft sunlight, the wedding ceremony embraced the natural beauty of its surroundings. With turquoise waters and verdant greens forming a picturesque backdrop, the setting felt serene and expansive. An acrylic-pillared mandap ensured unobstructed views, allowing the landscape to remain the focal point. Subtle floral accents in ivory tones complemented the scene, enhancing rather than competing with the coastal charm, resulting in a ceremony that felt both elegant and organic.

Reception
The celebrations culminated in a glamorous evening reception, where a canopy of twinkling fairy lights set the tone for a night of revelry. A live saxophonist added a sophisticated rhythm to the evening, drawing guests to the dance floor. The menu, featuring Indian culinary favourites, was a crowd-pleaser, while heartfelt toasts and a sparkling champagne tower created moments that were as memorable as they were joyous.
