Ruchi and Poojan, Mirasol Resorts, Daman

An immersive wedding that saw an array of moods from Carnival fun to the divine love of Radha and Krishna come together to celebrate a radiant couple.

Ruchi and Poojan’s wedding was an immersive one where each function led the guests into a different world. Where the carnival was souk inspired, the Myra took them into the love story of Radha and Krishna with folk performances. The sangeet transported them to a concert and the wedding brought the Ganga Arti to them. Planned and executed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Bhoomi Events and Planners, the celebration was grand and electric, just like the couple!

Wedding Planning
Dinesh Pandya of Bhoomi Events and Planners says, “Everyone was enthusiastic about participating in the wedding activities. They fully embraced the Middle Eastern souk theme by donning traditional headcloths—the Keffiyeh and Agal. A major highlight was the folk play performance, where artists brought the story of Radha and Krishna to life through traditional dance and music. And through it all, Ruchi and Poojan were a joy to behold. They moved through the wedding day with a radiant grace, their faces lit up by a mix of deep-seated tradition and modern romance. Whether they were framed by the dramatic sparks of synchronized pyros or walking hand-in-hand through a soft cloud of dry ice, the sheer joy in their eyes turned the grand setting into an intimate sanctuary, making every guest feel the heartbeat of their beautiful journey.”

Wedding Functions
Carnival
For the Souk Bazaar inspired Carnival, the venue turned into an immersive world where every guest became a part of the Souk Bazaar narrative. The energy was electric as Poojan and Ruchi made their grand entrance, surrounded by friends and family who fully embraced the theme by donning traditional Middle Eastern headcloths—the Keffiyeh and Agal—instantly transforming the venue into a bustling, authentic marketplace. Amidst a whimsical flurry of bubbles and the rich, earthy tones of our rug-layered decor, the couple’s modern bohemian style stood out beautifully. It was a celebration defined by this collective spirit, where the thematic attire of the guests and the rustic charm of the bazaar combined to make Poojan and Ruchi’s journey feel like a legendary desert tale brought to life.

Myra
For the Myra ceremony, it was a beautiful setting inspired by the divine love of Radha and Krishna. The stage featured soft pastel colors, elegant floral alcoves, and intricate patterns that gave the whole room a peaceful and joyous feel. A major highlight was the folk play performance, where artists brought the story of Radha and Krishna to life through traditional dance and music. This performance added a spiritual and lively energy to the event, making the celebration feel like a true tribute to love and tradition. It was the perfect way to honor the couple’s special day with a theme that felt both meaningful and entertaining for all the guests.

Sangeet
This was a night that was less of a traditional ceremony and more of a high-octane concert experience. The energy was electric from the moment the couple made their grand entrance through a star-shaped, pyro-lit portal, descending onto a stage alive with synchronized sparks and heavy fog. Against a backdrop of massive LED screens and a sophisticated truss lighting setup, the couple was the true center of the spectacle. It was a celebration defined by grand scale and high energy, where every beat of the music and every burst of confetti mirrored the vibrant spirit of the couple and their loved ones.

Wedding
The backdrop of the wedding had to be as vibrant and soulful as the couple’s own connection. While the decor was a masterclass in “Royal Red” opulence featuring a breathtaking mandap draped in thousands of hand-strung roses and illuminated by the warm, flickering glow of a traditional Ganga Aarti. It was the couple’s infectious energy that truly stole the show.
